Soft Treasure

Soft Treasure

Genre: New Wave
Label: Self
Released: 2013

I just found out about Titanics the other night and missed their show sadly, because if their live show is anything like this album I really, really missed out. Their full length release “Soft Treasure” is magnificent. I listened straight through it without getting bored, or zoning out, or wanting to skip a single track. I don’t know if they went for this but, I was, and still am, a HUGE fan of Final Fantasy 7. If you are a fan of FF7 too, then you know how epic and memorable that soundtrack is; well this disc took me back to that. For some reason I just felt the same way listening to this disc as I did first hearing FF7’s music. The songs are laid out with some having lyrics, and others just movements bridging the songs together in a wonderful, and filling way. I can’t think of any particular song as they just fit together so well, almost each songs ending silence begged the start of the track after it, and so fourth. I loved this disc, and I think you will too.

You can find Titanics full length “Soft Treasure” on Bandcamp.
